Shark Drawing In art we had to watch a video of an art instruction tutorial on how to draw or sketch a shark. I watched the youtube video and learned the guy's shading and sketching techniques and then had to sketch and draw the shark. I had to pause and watch and the try the steps and then watch and pause to keep adding on the the steps. The guy made it look a lot easier then it was for me and it was frustrating to try in get all the fins in the right place and then shade so it looked like was more than just a one-dimensional drawing. The 21st century skills I used for this project were, Thinking and Problem solving, Information skills, Communication and self directional skills. I used thinking and problem solving by figuring out how to use the shading techniques and draw the shark as it was being shown. I used information skills by watching the Youtube video. I used communication skills by talking with Ms. Getzen about the project, and lastly, I used self-directional skills because i had to do this project at home. |
In art we had a project where we had to make a self portrait. First, we had to watch a video on how to make a shape of a head, and then we watched a video on how to make the eyes, nose and lips. Then we were told to make a self portrait. This project was difficult for me because I do not like drawing.
The 21st Century skills I used during this project were: Information skills, Self-Directional skills, Thinking and Problem Solving. I learned the techniques needed to draw a face. How to balance it out and how to make it symmetrical. By doing this project I learned patience with my self and how to not be so critical. I also learned how to draw a face.
