Hawaiian Heroes - Isaac Davis
This project was difficult and long. It took the entire 3rd quarter. It was difficult because my Hero, Isaac Davis, was a not well documented or studied, therefore, there was hardly any information about him. There wasn't even a picture of him and I had to make up what he might have looked like, We were given the task to figure out who was the most important person in Hawaiian history. We each were given a person and had to persuade the class that our person was most important. we started with the challenges against another hero/person to see who's hero was most important.

The 21st century skills I used were Information and problem solving, Communication, Interpersonal skills, Global awareness and civic literacy and engagement. I used Thinking and problem solving skills by discussing how my paper was not accurately quoted, and asked for an opportunity to resubmit. I used communication to talk about my hero and present to the class multiple times during this project. I used Global Awareness by studying my hero and how he impacted the culture and people of Hawaii. I used civic literacy to learn about my hero as an advisor to King Kamehameha.
